Black Circle Cinema
April–September 2013
Vox Populi Gallery
Philadelphia, PA, US

Black Circle Cinema was a screening series of 16mm experimental and avant garde films in Philadelphia. For some reason it was named after Kazmir Malevich's 1924 painting Black Circle. The series was programmed by Jesse Pires and Herb Shellenberger, projected by Herb Shellenberger and assisted by Kelsey Halliday Johnson.
