Lester’s adaptation of the popular Broadway musical has Zero Mostel and Jack Guilford reprise their roles as Pseudolus the slave and his master Hysterium. Inspired by the farces of ancient Roman playwright Plautus and with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum boasts an ensemble cast and features the last screen role of film legend Buster Keaton.
